Elemental Somatic Singing

The Elemental Somatic Singing class series blends meditation, restorative yoga stretches, yoga breathwork, and chakra energy connection to unlock your authentic vocal expression. Guided meditations offer you a chance to quiet the mind and tune into your inner landscape, creating space for natural sound to emerge. Breathwork lays the foundation for your vocal power and tonal control, while chakra energy helps you tap into your deepest self-expression. Each class opens and closes with elemental rituals to set up energetic protection for the deep level self-inquiry, processing, and freedom of expression that follows.

Justine creates a warm and welcoming online voice studio environment for new singers to explore sound in a way that is both fun and freeing. Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned performer, this class invites you to experience singing as a holistic practice.

Frequently Asked Questions

I love singing alone, but I'm afraid to sing in front of people. Can I still join a class?

ABSOLUTELY. Our classes are designed to help you let go of anxiety through meditation and yoga breathing before we even get into singing. Beyond that, these classes are offered online, so you can mute your microphone at any time and freely express without worrying about anyone hearing you.

I don't have a quiet or personal space to join classes from. What should I do?

This is a VERY common issue, especially amongst people living with romantic partners or spouses. Our classes are easily joined from your phone or device, so you can join from literally anywhere. We often get clients joining from their car, parked somewhere with a beautiful view, or even at a friend's house.

What if I want to join with a friend or spouse, so we can sing together in the same room?

You are welcome to have as many people as you like join your class with you, either as a participant or even as a support system, as long as you all join on the same device. The ticket prices are per device / sign in. If they are joining on a second phone or computer, they will need to purchase a ticket.

That being said, we do require all additional guests to complete a brief Guest Registration Form, so that we know who is joining. 

I really want to take a class, but I don't have the funds right now. Are there any trade options?

YES. Because we are a small family-owned business, we do offer free classes in exchange for the following services:

  • Flyering - put up some of our class our flyers in your town!

  • Wellness trade - guided meditations, energy healing, somatic movement, dance, and yoga from experienced professionals.

Singer & Spirit Guide 
Justine Lucas

Justine Lucas (also known as "Madame Z") is a San Francisco Bay Area singer, composer, and performer. She has been performing and recording in studio for over 20 years, and has traveled the US and Canada with various productions.
Justine was first introduced to chakra system and alternative healing methods at a young age by her grandmother, Judith Winston, who is a Polarity Therapist, Reiki Healer, and the founder of an alternative healing arts center in North Carolina.
In the summer of 2022, Justine became the pioneer for meditation and chakra based musical education. She was the first to offer a comprehensive program that gives singers holistic healing tools to not only enhance their musical expression, but also use music as a part of their greater healing journey. 

  • As a singer... Justine has toured the US and Canada and played renown venues such as The Great American Music Hall, Slim's, Yoshi's, Herbst Theatre, and more. 

  • As a songwriter... Justine has written over four hundred songs and recorded over 5 solo albums of original music. She has written songs for and performed with several bands including The Jaunting Martyrs, Moonshine Jelly, Madame Z, & Two Drifters.

  • As a healer... Justine incorporates meditation, somatic chakra work, Reiki, Pranayama yoga, Iyengar yoga, and Ayurvedic herbalism in to help you clear chakras and find your voice.
