San Francisco's own locally renown Folk Singer & Vocal Coach, Justine Lucas.
Justine Lucas (also known as "Madame Z") has toured the US and Canada as a singer and speaker. She has performed at internationally acclaimed Bay Area venues such as The Great American Music Hall, Slim's, Yoshi's, Herbst Theatre, and The Civic Center, SF. Justine Lucas attained her BFA degree in Fine Art with a minor in World Music & Dance from SF State University in 2011. From 2012 to 2015 she recorded 4 albums of original music, one of which was recorded with George Benson's studio band. From 2014-2018 she traveled throughout the US and Canada with world renown circuses, including Cavalia, Cirque du Soleil, Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, to further her experience and education in the art of live stage performance. In 2018, she began teaching what she had learned, using music education as the platform. In 2022, she founded Somatic Singing — a culmination of all of her experience in performance, public speaking, singing and understanding your voice.
