Warm Up Wednesday

Learn how to soothe your nervous system with your own voice. Nourish your vocal cords with healthy vocal warmups. Learn to play with harmonies and melodies intuitively, releasing stuck energy from your chakras, and exploring sound in a musically freeing environment. Attend weekly to develop a regular practice with your voice and hone your skill.

Some of the things we'll do in class:

  • Breathwork

    Experience guided breathwork for releasing tension, cultivating mindfulness, and expanding consciousness. We'll be connecting with the breath using Pranayama yoga, Iyengar yoga, and Opera breathing exercises.

  • Vocal Warmups

    Experience guided vocal warmups for breath support, expanding your range and refining your tone. We'll warm the voice with gentle tonal vibrations and vocal exercises that calm the central nervous system.

  • Singing

    Explore healthy singing habits, discover your voice and learn to express yourself with confidence and authenticity. We'll also use the week's element in our song. Explore your voice in an emotionally free and spiritually supportive environment.
